Our History

We began in 1969, as J.C. Beverage System, selling coffee wholesale to schools and businesses.  Our business continued to grow because we did more than just sell coffee - we serviced all the equipment and even arranged to rotate equipment every three months to once per year depending on the water hardness.

Selling restaurants became a natural extension of our growing business because of our speedy service and attention to detail along with a good quality coffee.

In 1979, we changed our name to J.C. Coffee because primarily 95% of our business was coffee.  By now we were serving major restaurant chains taking us into five states.

Finally, in early 1983, we became distributors of a gourmet coffee roaster, who carefully selected the best quality "GOURMET" coffees and insisted on roasting daily for freshness.

Because of this union, and these special coffees, we proved that gourmet coffee would increase sales, thus increased profits and established a relationship with our customers for outstanding coffee (we increased sales 30.9% in 1984 over 1983 in one restaurant chain alone).

The next step in our quest for a superior cup of coffee was to "Do It All" hence... on November 1, 1984 Coffee Roasters, Inc. was born.  Now we buy the highest quality green coffees, select the green coffee blend, type of roast, grind and packaging as well as frequency of roast, to insure freshness. 

Our daily roasted beans are harvested from the finest coffee producing regions of the world. Our professional Roasters combine decades of experience and the latest roasting technologies to deliver the highest quality coffee with truly remarkable flavor.
