Use one level measuring tablespoon of ground coffee for each 6 ounces of water.
Use only clear, cold, fresh water.
Water should pass through the coffee only once, hence the drip method with a paper filter brews the best coffee.
Clean all parts of the coffee maker, especially the parts that come in contact with the coffee. Do this after each use. Accumulated residues of stale coffee can spoil the flavor.
For maximum freshness, store unused coffee in an airtight container or glass jar. Keep it in your freezer.
